About Karen Williams
Karen graduated as a sculptor from Heatherleys School of Fine Art in 2024.
Though she has long explored various mediums part-time, including oil painting and ceramics.
Between 2017 and 2021, Karen participated with Exeter University on a tag and release program, studying the migration patterns of bluefin tuna.
Karen’s art repurposes everyday items, transforming them into powerful symbols that highlight the critical importance of wildlife.
Through these reimagined objects, she seeks to communicate environmental messages and inspire reflection on humanity’s relationship with the natural world.
Her paintings have been exhibited at Putney Arts Theatre, whilst her sculptures have been featured in exhibitions such as ‘Fragile Existence’ at J/M Gallery, Water Creatures at Heatherlys School of Fine Art and Technology v Ecology and at the Chapel in Brompton cemetery.
